Renewable Energy

We will be exploring two forms of renewal energy namely solar (in this we have done substantial amount of work) and biomass. The effort would be to work towards decentralized generation, distribution and to use this form of energy to contribute towards economic viability of certain livelihood ventures

Studies

Study energy consumption pattern of existing drinking water schemes to look at the viability of renewal energy technology vis-à-vis existing source of energy

Use of renewal energy technology for enhancement in salt production and minimizing production cost

Use of renewal energy technology to minimize energy expenses in running of ‘Mini Dairy’

Use of renewal energy technology in processing of farm produce as against the use of conventional energy sources

Study the potential of renewable energy sources like wind, bio, (bio-fuels, bio gas, biomass gasification ) solar in Kutch
